The Melville Centre in Abergavenny is a community venue offering a number of different options to local organisations wishing to hire a room for presentations, meetings, workshops or performances. It is conveniently situated near the north end of Abergavenny’s main high street, and access to local car parking and public transport is excellent. The Centre comprises the Melville Theatre (a 70-seat studio theatre with film projection facilities), a bar/coffee bar, and two further rooms which can be used for meetings.
ROOM HIRE PRICES
Rooms at the Melville Centre are available to hire at competitive rates. These rates are tailored not just to the kind of usage being made of the space, but also to the kind of user. Our most generous rates are offered to organisations which are registered charities. We also discount our rates for users whose purposes are essentially of a non-commercial kind. In addition, for regular users we are prepared to adopt a flexible approach in order to fix a price which is both fair and reasonable.
